 unty Georgia DEcember 4th Concerned citizens of Murray County Georgia and 
 surrounding counties. A company named Vanguard Renewables is attempting to
  build a bio waste facility on the south end of our county on Berry Bennet
 t Road. This plant has the potential to affect surface and ground water\, 
 this will result in problems to surrounding counties and downstream waters
 heds.\n\nWhy Don't We Want This?\n1. Hydrogen Sulfide and Ammonia: Cause h
 eadaches\, nausea\, and respiratory distress at low levels.\n2. PFAS-Forev
 er Chemicals: Found in biosolids and digestate\; contaminate soil and grou
 ndwater indefinitely.\n3. Methane Leakage: Explosive hazard and potent gre
 enhouse gas when not fully captured.\n4. Water Contamination: Runoff and s
 pills can pollute wells and streams with nitrates and bacteria.\n5. Odor &
 amp\; Quality of Life: Nearby residents lose property value\, outdoor use\
 , and peace due to persistent odor.\n6. Traffic\, Noise &amp\; Safety: Inc
 reased heavy truck traffic raises accident and pollution risks for rural c
 ommunities.\n\nAccording to the information provided\, the facility would 
 bring in an estimated 10 to 20 loaded trucks per day from Atlanta areas\n\
 nALL Murray residents should urge local officials to deny ALL permits for 
 using our county as a waste facility host! We DON'T need or want any more 
 garbage\, sewage\, or waste being trucked into our county! Protect our wel
 l\, air\, community\, and quality of life!\nShow up at the Murray County R
 ecreation Center for the Meeting on\nDecember 4th\, 2025 at 6pm\nOR\nCall 
 our Local Commissioner with your concerns!\n706-517-1400\nAdditionally\, t
 he rural character of the area\, combined with the potential for noise\, o
 dor\, and environmental runoff\, raises legitimate concerns about the qual
 ity of life and environmental stability for nearby residents. While Murray
  County supports responsible economic growth and innovative energy solutio
 ns\, we believe that a facility of this scale would be far better suited f
 or an industrially zoned area where the infrastructure is designed to acco
 mmodate such operations.\nWe respectfully request that the Environmental P
 rotection Division carefully consider the long-term infrastructure and env
 ironmental implications before approving this project in its proposed loca
 tion. Our goal is to ensure that any development within Murray County alig
 ns with the safety\, sustainability\, and well-being of our residents.
